Health insurance
Basic and supplementary insurance: we compare health insurers to lower your premiums without sacrificing the cover you need.
At a glance
- 01
The right deductible
We calculate the most cost-effective deductible based on your usual medical expenses.
- 02
Alternative models
Family doctor, care network or telemedicine: lower premiums for a model that suits you.
- 03
Useful supplementary cover
We keep the cover you actually use and remove what overlaps.
- 04
Switching without risk
We make sure you never cancel a supplementary policy before the new one has been accepted.
Mandatory basic health insurance (KVG/LAMal) is compulsory for everyone living in Switzerland. The benefits are identical from one insurer to another, but premiums vary widely. Your choice of deductible and insurance model also has a direct impact on your budget.
Supplementary insurance (governed by the Insurance Contract Act) covers what basic insurance does not: private or semi-private hospital wards, dental care, alternative medicine, glasses, treatment abroad. Unlike basic insurance, the insurer can refuse an application or apply exclusions.
